If you are looking to show off a special look for your boat or simply to rejuvenate its appearance, a boat wrap is the perfect solution. This customization and enhancement tool allows you to transform the look of your boat in no time. And for those who wish to have a look that is entirely unique, IDESIF even offers the possibility of creating customized models.
Thanks to its experience in the field of recreational navigation, IDESIF knows the specific needs of boaters. Materials are therefore specially selected for their resistance to the extreme conditions associated with recreational navigation.
A TRULY
ATTRACTIVE PRICE
Maintaining a boat is a time-consuming and costly undertaking. Not only is a marine wrap less expensive than a paint job, it also saves you the trouble of having to varnish the boat’s hull. The wrap, which is coated with a laminate that eliminates the need for varnish, is simply adhered to the boat’s surface. It gives your watercraft the smooth finish of an airbrushed job, while saving you the cost of a professional paint application.
DESIGNED FOR
NAUTICAL USE
Boat wraps are made with material that
was specifically designed for marine use. The glue is made using a
solvent, and
water does therefore not affect the adhesion of the vinyl at all. Once
applied,
the wrap stays in place for years. Furthermore, UV‑resistant inks are
used for
printing the design, thus protecting it from fading in the sun.
In addition, in an attempt to make the wrap
as durable as possible, a laminate (made of another layer of vinyl,
though this
time transparent) is applied over the print. With this feature,
scratches will
not damage the colouring of the boat; they’ll only graze the laminate.
Furthermore, the shiny finish of the laminate will give a look
resembling that
of paint. A yearly wax will help
maintain the wrap and
conserve the brightness of its colours.
QUICK INSTALLATION
Boating
season is already short enough, and a wrap
will help you take full advantage of it; for most watercraft, applying a
wrap only
takes one day.
Preparing
your boat for wrap application can be
summarized by one detail: the hull must be clean and dry. All the
lettering
(stripes), from the freeboard to the waterline, must be removed and the
surface
must be free from oil and dirt. IDESIF can take care of this step for you, but additional
fees apply.
IDESIF offers a one-year guarantee
against any peeling or fading if the application is performed by the
IDESIF
team.
Additional fees, calculated by the
kilometer, may apply for wrap applications made outside the Montreal
area.
