Boat wraps are made with material that
was specifically designed for marine use. The glue is made using a
solvent, and
water does therefore not affect the adhesion of the vinyl at all. Once
applied,
the wrap stays in place for years. Furthermore, UV‑resistant inks are
used for
printing the design, thus protecting it from fading in the sun.
In addition, in an attempt to make the wrap
as durable as possible, a laminate (made of another layer of vinyl,

time transparent) is applied over the print. With this feature,
