DESIGNED FOR THE OUTDOORS

Made with vinyl that was designed for outdoor use, our camouflage stickers are water-resistant. The glue is made using a solvent, and water does therefore not affect the adhesion of the vinyl at all. Once applied, the adhesive panels stay in place for years. Furthermore, the camouflage design is printed using UV‑resistant inks, a feature that protects the design from fading in the sun.

Also, in an attempt to make the camouflage panels as durable as possible, a laminate (made of another layer of vinyl, though this time transparent) is applied over the print. With this feature, you’ll never have to worry about branches and reeds damaging the colouring of the camouflage; they’ll only scratch the laminate. Finally, the matte finish of the laminate absorbs any unwanted glare that might hinder your attempts at concealment.

EASY AND ADAPTABLE APPLICATION

IDESIF camouflage stickers can be applied onto most surfaces. Smooth surfaces such as aluminum and fibreglass offer maximum adhesion. For more porous surfaces, a treatment might be necessary prior to application; wood, for example, needs to be pre-treated with a sealant, whereas polyethylene should first be heated with a heat gun. In general, a simple cleaning to remove any greasy residue that could lessen the vinyl’s adhesiveness will suffice to prepare the surface for application.

The flexibility of the vinyl used for camouflaging allows for it to easily marry with the various shapes of a surface. Furthermore, its stretchable quality enables it to be applied over rivets and small protrusions in the surface. To put the finishing touches on the application, a retractable utility knife can be used to cut off excess material.

The adhesive of the camouflage panels is permanent. As a result, the panels will remain in place until you decide to remove them. And removal is a breeze! All you need to do is scratch off a corner of the panel and slowly pull on it. Nearly all the adhesive comes off with the vinyl, and a simple cleaning will remove the little residue that is left, thus returning your boat or vehicle to the same state it was in prior to applying the camouflage sticker.

Finally, to obtain the utmost realism, we develop our models in sets of three or four consecutive panels. The purpose of this innovative concept is to avoid repetition in the pattern. Thus, in a boat measuring 16 feet, the design will only be repeated one and a half times, which is not enough for one to notice a sense of recurrence.
